On Friday morning, bright yellow caution tape was draped over a San Francisco landmark that's been facing out toward Ocean Beach for the last 73 years.
The roof was gone, and broken pieces of plywood that had previously been affixed to the southeast side of the building littered the ground below, revealing weather-worn, red stenciled letters that proclaimed the seaside attraction's original name: Camera Obscura.
